Winters has 10 years of human resources and organizational development experience as a consultant working with varying industries including gaming, hospitality, manufacturing, construction, education, loan processing, and non-profit. Winters specializes in various human resource functions such as learning and development, performance management, compliance, recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits.
Winters has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, where she found her passion for human resources and organizational development. Driven by helping individuals find their ideal place to work, Winters wrote her Master’s thesis on how an individual’s alignment to an organization’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives effect employee outcomes including organizational commitment, organizational identity, job satisfaction, and organizational citizenship behaviors.
Bringing that philosophy of helping individuals find their ideal place to work into the consulting environment with Simmons Group in 2016, Winters has quickly emerged as a key member of the team. Her HR knowledge and ability to adapt to the situational needs of an organization allows her to have significant impact on our clients by focusing on their specific challenges and identifying sustainable solutions.
Winters has an uncanny instinct to navigate through the external noise and zero in on what truly matters. She quickly and efficiently evaluates and assesses the priorities of a client to deliver high impact results. Her ability to accurately process and utilize large volumes of HR and training data, yet convey that information in a meaningful way, truly creates value for Simmons Group’s clients.
